Important Dates
Sept 2​
Deadline for local artists to deliver art to the Eastport Art Center between 10am and 2pm for the physical auction.
OR (not both)
Deadline for artists participating virtually to upload art to Onlline Gallery and auction. Submission form will open August 26.
Sept 3​
Reception and physical auction at Eastport Art Center 4-6pm.
Sept 4​
Virtual Gallery Opens.
Sept 10
​Virtual Gallery Closes.
For years we’ve celebrated the charm of Eastport through Paint Eastport Day. This year artists near and far can celebrate through 2 venues. One at Eastport Art Center (Sept. 3) and one online.
How to Submit Your Art

ARTISTS NEAR (Local artists):

Artists can submit up to 3 pieces.

Please register to participate. You do NOT need to upload any artwork.

Work does not need to be completed in a single day as in the past but should be inspired by Eastport, and may be abstract or representational, in any medium.
Deliver your art to Eastport Art Center (not the gallery):
Sept. 2 between 10am and 2pm.
ARTISTS FAR (Artists participating in Virtual Gallery):

Artists can submit up to 3 pieces.

Artwork will need to be uploaded using the form below.

Work does not need to be completed in a single day as in the past but should be inspired by Eastport, and may be abstract or representational, in any medium.
Online submissions will be open from:
August 26 through Sept. 2 at 2pm.

AUCTION and Virtual Gallery
​
EAC Auction
A reception and silent auction will be held at Eastport Art Center on September 3rd from 4-6pm.
​
Virtual Gallery
Work will be ready to "Buy Now" in a Virtual Paint Eastport Gallery from September 4 through September 11.
​
Commissions
Sales will be subject to 70/30 split - 70% to artist and 30% to Gallery. Please consider this when setting your minimum bids (reserve price). Works by youth 12 and under - 100% to artist. We also will ask you to provide a "buy now" price for immediate sales. This is a high-end price that allows a buyer to purchase an artwork without bidding.
After the Events
Artists will be notified after bidding closes on Sept 3 for the physical auction.

Artists and winners will be notified by email of the results of the online sales by September 12. Artists will agree to deliver or ship their art to buyers by September 17.
