Alanna sees this talk as an opportunity to reconnect with the Eastport Community. As a resident of New Brunswick, she reminds us that “our communities share the same waters. The marine environmental concerns are mutual. That ‘dotted’ line that stands between us does not exist for the creatures who inhabit our waterways.”

Alanna finds her inspiration in these waterways … particularly in the littoral and the intertidal zones. She will be talking about her work done during her residency at the Tides Institute as well as objects she is working on now and the processes that she uses.
