My work as an artist is building bridges from our protective boundaries to profound openings. Through creative process I explore and expand the emotional landscape of being human. When in the process of making my focus is community healing of traumatic stories. I am compelled to reckon with the ancestral pain of living on Wabanaki/Abenaki land as a person with white colonizing roots. I believe that as we shed light into the darkness of our society we will collectively be able to create a place where it is safe to speak truth. The innate power of conscious bodies to heal is our super power as humans. It is my truth as an artist that in creating honest, connective and transparent art we will facilitate the radical and positive change needed on our planet.
