Photography has brought me to many places seeking out that unspoken feeling that lurks around the next corner of the unknown. From a kid with disposable cameras, to a teenager with birthday and Xmas point and shoots. I seemed to have taken a liking to remembering, reminiscing, and documenting a special moment in time. Now in my 30’s I have discovered a further purpose to document and unravel the wonders and beauty of the world. I am solely focused with digital photography at this current time, but my style is collective with a wide range of captures. From street, landscape, wildlife, portraits, black & white, and night time. Inspiration comes from just about everything and could be considered an open format lifestyle photographer. My goal is to keep adventuring, learning and furthering my passion for creating compelling images, and most importantly having fun with the creative process while connecting with others.
SkillsI have been working since I was 15 years old and living on my own since I was 17, now 33. Giving effort, commitment and building a network of relationships has been apart of my skill set for more than half my life now. I have worked in customer service / retails positions for many years and held various leadership roles for different employers too. Before starting my own LLC 4 years ago I was eager to try to move up through corporate America but sometimes it just doesn’t pan out that way and the blessings of starting your own source of income couldn’t have come at a better time. I am technical and can work with computers and phones. Physical labor, painting or housekeeping doesn’t offend me and I certainly don’t mind getting handy or dirty. A similar comparison or experience I feel to the gallery would be I once worked in a pottery studio and there were a lot of times of solely running the store, classes, tutorials, cash register all in the midst of a day. Managing time, inventory and working in an artsy environment was rewarding and challenging. Where I think I can provide, additional support, help to the gallery is in my positive attitude, optimistic perspective, self motivated work ethic experience, ability to adapt, and being a team player. Traveling to East Port would not be an issue for me as I love to travel, and had the opportunity to meet some great fellow artist from the gallery last Sept on a solo travel trip for photography thru Maine and Canada. I work for myself and feel confident that I have the flexibility to meet the expectations of the gallery and its needs. I’d be honored to be apart of such a great community and appreciate your consideration.
